As far as university-industry links are concerned, many techno-parks and technology development centres have been established within university campuses since the year 200As of 2014, 32 technology development centres are operating and an additional 11 are being developed at various universities. Universities offer two-year programmes within this degree, all of which are vocational oriented, and graduates are expected to be employed as intermediate staff in related sectors at the end of the study period. The curriculum design of these programmes is carried out in such a way that the student is given the opportunity to do his or her internships in related sector companies.
