Turkish Visa Information For Foreigners

On 17 April 2013, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey launched an electronic visa (e-Visa) application system. This system makes it easy for tourists to travel to Turkey to receive their e-Visa (www.evisa.gov.tr) online in about three minutes. E-Visa 7/24 can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connexion. Applicants can obtain a visa after they have provided the required information regarding their identity, passport and travel dates, and after paying an online Turkey visa fee. Please note that the e-visa is valid only if tourism or trade are the intention of travel. Visas are issued by Turkish Embassies or Consulates for other purposes, such as work and studies.
