IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System.
The International English Language Testing System, or IELTS, is a non-native English language speaker's English language competence test. The British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and Cambridge Assessment English are all involved in its management. It has become one of the most trusted types of English-language evaluation since its debut in 1989, and it is accepted by over 10,000 colleges, businesses, and immigration organisations throughout the world.
IELTS tests are divided into two categories: academic and non-academic.
Academic IELTS is for international students interested in
studying at a UK university or joining a higher education institute.
General IELTS is designed at people who want to move to an
English-speaking nation and focuses on English survival skills, social and
workplace language.
Materials & Resources for the IELTS Exam
In general, the IELTS preparation online. There are several preparation books and online tools that can supplement students' learning in addition to in-person or online preparation classes.
From internet blogs and YouTube channels to books and smartphone
apps, there's a variety of information available. There are many free IELTS
resources online, as well as some excellent applications and books that you may
purchase.

Anyone interested in learning more about the IELTS exam

with clear and reliable information on all parts of the exam. The IELTS.org
website has a wealth of information regarding the IELTS test, as well as
guidance and helpful connections about using IELTS for migration, study, and work.
IELTS-Simon.com is a website dedicated to the IELTS exam.
IELTS-Simon is a website managed by an ex-IELTS examiner that strives to provide the most up-to-date information regarding the examination from the perspective of an examiner.
It mostly comprises of free daily lectures for self-study. On the site, there are around 3,000 brief daily lessons covering every aspect of the IELTS exam. About the exam, IELTS General Writing, IELTS Listening, IELTS Writing Task 1 and IELTS Writing Task 2 are all sections on the homepage.

IELTSLiz.com is an IELTS preparation website created by a professional (named Liz, as you might expect!) with "many years of teaching expertise of IELTS exam preparation around the world." Tips, sample answers, practise lessons, subjects, and instructional videos are all available on her website.
Each of the four exam papers has its own section on the
website. Each part includes helpful hints, Liz-designed practise sessions,
videos, practise exam papers (in both paper and online formats), and a wide
selection of materials.
IELTSBuddy.com is a website dedicated to assisting students
with their IELTS
In both the IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training modules, IELTSBuddy provides straightforward and easy-to-understand overviews of the four exam papers. Exam forms, question types, timeframes, number of speakers (listening), genres (reading), and essay forms are all covered in these overviews (writing). Each section includes the following, in addition to overviews:
- IELTS Writing paper: task 1 and 2 ideas and methods, as well as sample scripts with feedback, practise tests, and grammar lessons tailored to IELTS.
- Tips and tactics, lectures, practise tests, sample speaking answers for the three parts of the course, and audio of a complete mock speaking exam are all included in the IELTS Speaking paper.
